  1. Syracuse ice hockey sophomore goaltender Kallie Billadeau has been named the CHA Goalie of the Week for her performance against New Hampshire last weekend. Billadeau made 32 stops against the Wildcats to backstop SU to a 2-1 win. Forwards Megan Skelly and Casey Hirsch were also named to the conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Syracuse, which was outshot 33-14 in the contest, relied on Billadeau in the third period as she made 13 saves to preserve the win. The Minnetonka, Minn. native is 1-1-0 for the Orange this season, and is seventh in the nation and first in the conference with a .940 save percentage. Her 2.50 goals against average is tied for 17th in the country.

Skelly had a goal and an assist for Syracuse on its weekend road trip to Northeastern and New Hampshire. The SU co-captain potted her first goal of the season on Friday against the Huskies, a power play tally that brought the Orange within one goal early in the third period. Skelly also assisted on Julie Knerr’s first collegiate goal on Saturday against UNH in the second period. The Taber, Alberta native is tied for second on the team with two points through four games this season, and leads the team with 10 shots on goal.

Hirsch played in both games for the Orange at Northeastern and New Hampshire. The Maple Grove, Minn. native scored her first collegiate goal, the eventual game-winner, against the Wildcats on Saturday on a deflection from in front of the crease. Hirsch has played in all four games for SU this season.
