Hamilton Sweeps Cortland

 Katie Zimmerman recorded five points on three goals and two assists as the Hamilton women's ice hockey team completed a weekend sweep of Cortland with a 7-0 victory Saturday night. The Red Dragons fell to 2-7-1 with the loss, and the Continentals evened their record at 4-4.

Freshman goalie Katie Avery (Lewiston, ME/UMass Amherst Club) earned the start between the pipes and stopped 17 shots in 27 minutes, 21 seconds before giving way to senior Katie Double (Farmington/Victor H.S.), who made 16 saves over the final 32:39.

Kristen Pallen registered a goal and an assist, three other players scored one goal each for Hamilton, while Stephanie Lang, Laura DiCarlo and Jill Tokarczyk each recorded two assists. Tori Bogen started in goal, making six saves in 32:47. Sarah Schuchardt finished the game, registering three saves in 27:17.
