Christine Williams (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) and Jeyna Minnick (Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia) registered a goal and an assist each as Buffalo State (5-5-2) blanked Plymouth State (0-5-3) in a non-conference game this afternoon.
Courtney Carnes (Winslow, ME/Winslow) also scored for the Bengals. Brianna Murphy (Depew, NY/Lancaster), Rio Flynn (Happy Valley, OR/Appleby College (ON)) and Jen Sequin (Hamilton, ON/St. Jean de Brebeuf) chipped in one assist apiece.
Buffalo State got on the board, scoring just 40 seconds into the opening frame and added another marker in both the second and third periods.
Jordan Lee (Colorado Springs, CO/Widefield) made 16 saves between the pipes for her fifth win of the season.
